Ondrej Kalenda: Projectional skeletons and algebraic structures ----- Abstract: Projectional skeletons are an important tool to study nonseparable Banach spaces by decomposing them to separable pieces. I will present some recent results on the interplay of projectional skeletons with several algebraic structures studied in functional analysis, like von Neumann algebras and some Jordan type algebras. In particular, any predual of these structures admits a commutative projectional skeleton. These results come from a joint work with Martin Bohata, Jan Hamhalter, Antonio Peralta and Hermann Pfitzner. -----
