Renormings of Banach spaces: some open questions.

ABSTRACT: Thanks to the Prague school of functional analysis, the theory of renormings of separable
 and non-separable Banach spaces is very different from what it was forty years ago, and spectacular
 progress has been achieved. However, natural and quite basic questions remain open.
 We will present and comment on some of these questions.
