Hello! I am a mathematician, working broadly in the areas of set theory and logic and applications thereof to problems arising from graph theory, topology, and algebra. I am particularly interested in all sorts of questions regarding compactness, or the extent to which the global properties of large mathematical structures are determined by their local properties. For more details, see my Research Statement or my research articles in the "Papers" section of this web page. You can also have a look at my CV.
In addition to my technical writing, I also run a blog, Point at Infinity, aimed at a general audience and focused on the exploration of the concept of "infinity" through the lenses of mathematics, physics, philosophy, history, art, and literature.
